1. What This Agreement Covers

These terms apply when you use UseArticle (usearticle.com), including our website builder, AI content generation tools, affiliate marketplace, and any related services. By signing up or using UseArticle, you agree to these terms.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • One person or entity per account. Do not share your account with others.
  • You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

3. What You Can Do

UseArticle lets you:

  • Build affiliate websites using our AI-powered templates.
  • Generate product reviews, comparisons, buying guides, and other content with AI.
  • Use custom domains or UseArticle subdomains for your sites.
  • Browse and use affiliate programs from our marketplace.
  • Manage affiliate links and product data.

4. What You Cannot Do

  • Use UseArticle for anything illegal, fraudulent, or harmful.
  • Publish misleading, defamatory, or hateful content through our platform.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or tamper with our platform.
  • Resell or redistribute access to UseArticle without our permission.
  • Violate any affiliate program's terms when using their links through our platform.
  • Use the platform to generate spam or mass low-quality content intended to manipulate search engines.

5. AI-Generated Content

  • Content generated by our AI tools is provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring its accuracy before publishing.
  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. UseArticle is not liable for any consequences arising from publishing AI-generated content without review.
  • You own the content you create and publish using UseArticle. We do not claim ownership over your content.
  • You are responsible for complying with FTC disclosure guidelines and any applicable laws when publishing affiliate content.

6. Pricing & Payments

We offer the following plans:

  • Base Plan: $15/month (or $12/month billed yearly)
  • Unlimited Plan: $49/month (or $39/month billed yearly)
  • BYOK Plan: $250 one-time lifetime payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in USD. If we ever change pricing, existing subscribers will be notified in advance and will continue on their current plan until they choose to switch. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

7. Free Trial & Cancellation

  • You can start using UseArticle for free without a credit card.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
  • When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
  • We do not prorate partial months or years.

8. Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with UseArticle. Here is our refund policy:

  • Monthly & Yearly Plans: You can request a full refund within 7 days of your payment. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued.
  • BYOK (Lifetime) Plan: You can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued as this is a one-time lifetime purchase.
  • To request a refund, contact us through our support chat within the 7-day window.

9. Affiliate Program

UseArticle offers an affiliate program where you can earn 30% recurring commission on referrals. By joining:

  • You agree to promote UseArticle honestly and not use misleading marketing tactics.
  • Self-referrals (signing up through your own affiliate link) are not allowed.
  • Commission rates may change with prior notice.

Payouts

  • All commissions have a 60-day hold period before they become eligible for payout. This is to account for refunds, chargebacks, and fraudulent signups.
  • The minimum payout threshold is $50 USD. Commissions below this amount will roll over to the next payout cycle.
  • Payouts are processed after the hold period, provided the minimum threshold is met.

Fraud & Abuse

  • Any form of fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the affiliate program will result in immediate termination of your affiliate account.
  • This includes but is not limited to: fake signups, using bots or automated traffic, cookie stuffing, misleading ads, incentivized clicks, and self-referrals.
  • If fraudulent activity is detected, all pending and unpaid commissions will be forfeited.
  • We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and withhold payouts during the investigation.
  • Terminated affiliate accounts cannot be reinstated.

10. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) Users

If you use the BYOK plan with your own OpenAI API key:

  • You are responsible for your own API usage costs with OpenAI.
  • Your API key is stored securely and used only to generate content on your behalf.
  • UseArticle is not responsible for any charges incurred on your OpenAI account.
  • You must comply with OpenAI's usage policies when generating content through UseArticle.

11. Your Data & Privacy

  • We use cookies and analytics tools (including Affonso Analytics) to improve the platform.
  • We use Crisp for customer support chat.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

12. Uptime & Availability

We do our best to keep UseArticle available 24/7, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime, whether planned (maintenance) or unplanned (outages).

13. Third-Party Services

UseArticle integrates with third-party services like Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI content generation), and various affiliate networks. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services.

14. Limitation of Liability

UseArticle is provided "as is." We do our best to provide a reliable and useful service, but:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
  • We are not responsible for lost revenue, affiliate commissions, or business opportunities.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Account Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, your websites and content hosted on UseArticle will be removed.
  • We recommend exporting your content before cancelling your account.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through the platform. Continued use of UseArticle after changes means you accept the updated terms.
